ASCE National Society Awards Nomination Process

In preparing the submittal, please bear in mind that the nomination should be based on the stated criteria established for the award. Nominations should reach the ASCE Awards Program office by the deadline stated for each award. Information regarding deadlines for ASCE National Society Awards can be found at http://www.asce.org/files/pdf/pressroom/deadlinecalendar.pdf. Criteria for ASCE national awards can be found by referring to the list of awards. ASCE National Society Awards should be mailed to: Honors and Awards Program, ASCE Awards Department, 1801 Alexander Bell Drive, Reston, VA 20191-4400. EWRI Institute/Council Award Nomination Process
EWRI is pleased to provide the EWRI Institute/Council Award Nomination Process for 2008 which was established in 2005 and has been revised for FY2008. A complete list of EWRI Institute/Council Awards can be found at: http://www.ewrinstitute.org/inside/ewri_instituteawards.cfm. Individuals are encouraged to nominate a peer for an EWRI Institute/Council Award by completing an online EWRI Institute/Council 2008 Nomination Form at http://www.ewrinstitute.org/inside/ewri_awardform08.cfm or PDF (117 KB) EWRI Institute/Council 2008 Nomination Form at http://www.ewrinstitute.org/inside/ewri_awardform08.pdf.

Nominators should send EWRI Institute/Council Award nominations to the respective Council Awards Committee using the EWRI/Council form listed above by November 1, 2007. The Council Awards Committees will then send their selections to the EWRI Awards Committee for final approval by December 15, 2007. The EWRI Awards Committee reviews and approves awards to be given at the 2008 EWRI Congress by January 15, 2008. Finally, award letters are sent to award winners inviting them to receive their awards at the EWRI Congress.

Any EWRI Institute/Council 2008 Nomination Forms received by EWRI will be posted in the respective Council Awards Committee's eRoom. To date each Council Awards Committee has an eRoom established. Shortly thereafter invitations will be sent out inviting Council Awards Committee members to inspect their respective eRooms. If a Council Awards Committee member receives a nomination form, it is his/her responsibility to forward it onto the committee chair and Autumn Richter (arichter@asce.org) who will see that the nomination is then listed in the council committee eRoom. Once the Council Awards Committee has made their selections, the EWRI Institute/Council 2008 Award Nomination Forms for their award winners should be sent to the EWRI Awards Committee by mail to EWRI/ASCE, EWRI Awards Committee, 1801 Alexander Bell Drive, Reston, VA, 20191-4400 or by email to arichter@asce.org.
