The Environmental and Water Resources Institute welcomes
individual college and university students and student groups who
wish to further their professional growth and advance their technical
skills through membership in our Institute.
EWRI student membership is available at no cost to students in any
engineering or engineering-related discipline. Students can enroll
through the EWRI website at http://www.EWRInstitute.org, and
immediately begin receiving the EWRI quarterly newsletter, Currents,
as well as member discounts on publications, conferences, and
continuing education. Student members are invited to participate in
the technical and administrative committee activities of EWRI,
please visit http://www.ewrinstitute.org/ewricommittees.html for
information on EWRI committees.
EWRI also encourages the forming of environmental and water
resources technical groups within existing student organizations or
other student chapters. We particularly welcome students from nonengineering
disciplines, such as geology, environmental studies, and
others. Upon request, we will provide recommended bylaws, hard
copies of EWRIs Currents, and other program materials to such
groups. If sufficient groups are identified, an information sharing
newsletter is planned.
Please contact EWRI staff person Carol Gerard at cgerard@asce.org
for information or with any additional questions.
