EWRI Committee Open House at the Congress

Guide your professional growth by actively participating in one or more of EWRI’s vast assortment of committees. Most EWRI committees are of a technical nature – come share and increase your expertise in the environmental and water resources industries. In addition to technical activities there are ample opportunities in the Member Services and Products Development areas. Have a knack for anticipating the technical needs of the profession – join the Conferences & Exhibit Council, or if you enjoy writing join the Communications Council and help produce Currents, the EWRI quarterly newsletter. If you have an international flare the International Cooperation Council is extremely active in bringing ASCE/EWRI across borders.

EWRI is hosting a Leadership Reception and Committee Open House at the Congress on Monday, June 23 from 6:30-8:30 pm - all are invited. Come join us in this social setting, enjoy light refreshments and beverages while mingling with colleagues. If you are relatively new to EWRI/ASCE network your way forward, get involved with EWRI. If you’ve been an active part of ASCE long before EWRI was in existence then invite another conference attendee and show them how to connect. Or if your committee is looking for new members, this is your chance to recruit "new life" for your committee. Be prepared to share your committee participation experiences with other members, and encourage them to become active within EWRI. Bring your committee specific information, highlight future committee goals, tell everyone about the products & services your committee is working on, and share other literature explaining why someone should join your committee. For those of you not already on a committee or if you have ever wondered what a particular committee does this is your chance to find out. We look forward to seeing you there!
