Urban Drainage Standards Committee

The Committee for the updating of Standards for Urban Drainage and Urban Subsurface Standards met recently in Baltimore, Maryland for a one day meeting. Chairman William Archdeacon welcomed four other members from around the country. The committee members went over the Negative Ballot sent in by one of the members related to the Design of Urban Subsurface Guidelines. After resolution of the key issues, the Guidelines are in various stages of completion and are progressing toward publication. The status of various other Committee actions was discussed as several are still being considered for future study. The future of the Committee was discussed, with future study topics to be determined at upcoming ASCE Management meetings. New members are being solicited.
