2005 Congress Student Opportunities

This year's Congress provides several opportunities for technical enrichment for students and a special introduction to the water resources and environmental engineering industry. Several activities involving students are scheduled. These include:
  • The Parsons Brinkerhoff Environmental and Water Resources Student Design Competition: Witness student teams from Seattle University, Michigan Technological University and Lawrence Technical University compete at this live Congress competition.

  • 2005 Student Technical Paper Competition: See this year's top two winners in both categories present their winning papers.

  • Career Opportunities After College Panel Discussion: Learn about career opportunities after graduation from professionals in private, public, government, and educational sectors.
Dale Heck of Stanford University, the winner of the 15th Annual Student Photography Contest, will be honored, along with the other contest winners at the Alaska Native Heritage Center event on Wednesday evening. Students are also urged to participate in Tuesday afternoon tours to take advantage of informal opportunities to chat with industry leaders.
