2005 Congress Student Opportunities
This year's Congress provides several opportunities for
technical enrichment for students and a special introduction
to the water resources and environmental engineering
industry. Several activities involving students are scheduled.
These include:
- The Parsons Brinkerhoff Environmental and Water
Resources Student Design Competition: Witness
student teams from Seattle University, Michigan
Technological University and Lawrence Technical
University compete at this live Congress competition.
- 2005 Student Technical Paper Competition: See this
year's top two winners in both categories present their
winning papers.
- Career Opportunities After College Panel Discussion:
Learn about career opportunities after graduation from
professionals in private, public, government, and
educational sectors.
Dale Heck of Stanford University, the winner of the 15th
Annual Student Photography Contest, will be honored, along
with the other contest winners at the Alaska Native Heritage
Center event on Wednesday evening. Students are also urged
to participate in Tuesday afternoon tours to take advantage of
informal opportunities to chat with industry leaders.
