At the University of Missouri at Rolla,
both the civil engineering program and the
building that houses it are in line for a facelift.
The university will offer a new
undergraduate degree program this year,
environmental engineering, to be based in
the newly renovated and expanded Butler-
Carlton Civil Engineering Building. The
environmental degree will round out the
departments offerings in this subject, which
include both masters and doctoral programs
in environmental engineering. The
program includes courses in water resources
and wastewater engineering, geoenvironmental
engineering, air pollution and
control, environmental chemistry and
processes, and environmental microbiology
and processes. Additional information
